Microsoft Charges How Much?

Microsoft charges $140 to, xbox, fix Xbox 360s that have the red ring of death,, xbox, if your console is not under warranty.

If you are still covered under the warranty, then they’ll fix it for free.

So, What if I’m Not Under Warranty?

This is great if you’re under warranty. But for those of us who aren’t so fortunate, then we’re stuck having to pay for a service that’s nearly half the cost of the console itself! Not only that, but when you ship it off to Microsoft you also have to pay for shipping and wait 6-8 weeks to get your console back.

When my Xbox 360 broke, it was not under warranty, and I found this excessive repair cost just a little too much to pay.

I considered buying a new Xbox 360, but instead I did some research and found a way to avoid paying the $140 repair cost from, xbox, Microsoft, while still permanently fixing the red ring of death.

Instead of shipping my console off to the repair crew at Microsoft, I found a do-it-yourself guide for a fraction of what Microsoft was charging. Needless to say, it worked like a charm to fix the red ring of death on my Xbox 360 and I haven’t had a problem with my console since.
