Another easier option is available for you if you wish to repair your Xbox in no time and at the comfort of, xbox, your own home. You can open your Xbox and repair it by following the steps below.
#1 First, open your Xbox console by lifting the cover gently. Locate the face plate by placing your finger at the bottom part of the console and pull it away from you.
#2 After opening the Xbox console, you will see six tabs that are attached to a grey button vent plate inside. Before pulling the top plate of the console, find a tool that can help you remove the clips from the hole so you can release it from its attachment. #3 Once you have opened your console, position it upside down so you can successfully get the console apart.
Then remove the fan.
#4 When the case is open remove the motherboard. Once again you need to do this carefully and ensure you remove all the screws and then turn it over. Once you have done this you will see two x shaped clamps on the rear. These need to be replaced. You, xbox, can get repair kits with new x-clamps and screws and this will, xbox, only take you a few minutes to do.
