In November of 2005 the Xbox 360 was released by Microsoft, which was the highly anticipated sequel to the former Xbox gaming console. The Xbox 360 is perhaps one of the most enjoyable gaming systems to date, given the fact it has so many cool features and hardware capabilities. Even though the Xbox 360 is a very enjoyable system, it cannot be overlooked and all pre-owners, xbox, should be aware that the Xbox 360 has some serious hardware problems.

The Xbox 360 on the brink of its release started experiencing problems with overheating, which in turn created a whole host of other, very serious, system errors.

But the primary error, the most common and widely experienced was one that resulted in the display of Three red lights that circled the on and off button on the front of the Xbox. This error became known as “The Red Rings of Death”. The Xbox 360 red rings are essentially a very common hardware issue that results from the Xbox 360’s inability to sustain the amount of power that it uses. The estimated figures for this error are around 35% — that’s huge considering the amount of Xbox 360’s that are sold.

It’s also estimated that 7 out of every 10 Xbox 360’s will experience the Xbox 360 red rings at some point in their lifetime.

Once Microsoft acknowledged the seriousness, xbox, of the situation they released a press statement that the Xbox 360 failure rate falls within three and five percent. What Microsoft considers being “well within industry standards.” This percentage was put to the test however, when a poll was run using retailers all around the world to mark, xbox, their Xbox 360 return rate.

The results were shocking and it was discovered that the Xbox 360 was one of the least reliable systems (in terms of hardware failure) to date. It became such a frequent problem that Microsoft began repairing and refunding the consoles that were first released in 2005, and even extended the warranty to one year. A special phone option for this specific problem was also placed on Microsoft’s technical support line, even further authenticating the seriousness of the issue.

As you can see the Xbox 360, even though it is a fantastic gaming system has some definite system errors that need to be addressed.

Due to the information about the Xbox 360’s problems, it’s vitally important that anyone who intends, xbox, on purchasing, or who already owns an Xbox 360, is aware of how to properly prevent the Xbox 360 red rings from hitting their system. The red rings are no joke as they pretty much signify the end of your gaming days until you can get your 360 fixed. And if you already have the Xbox 360 red rings then it’s even more important to take the proper measures to fix your system right away.

There is information spread wide and thin throughout the internet and much of it is inaccurate and harmful to your system.

There are only a few sources of information that provide you with the facts, and this information is found within the very, xbox, useful and easy to use Xbox 360 repair guides. If you are a part of the 35% of individuals who suffer from this same problem then it’s highly recommended that you invest some time learning about these repair guides so you can permanently fix your Xbox 360.
